Cerluten is a natural peptide complex isolated from brain cortex tissue, part of the Cytomax line of Khavinson bioregulators rather than a single synthetic peptide like Pinealon. The Khavinson hypothesis is tissue-specific: short peptides pulled from a given organ are proposed to enter the cell, bind specific promoter regions of DNA, and nudge transcription of proteins in that same tissue, so a cortex-derived complex acts on cortical neurons.
