What it is
Cortexin is a mix of water-soluble polypeptides, roughly 1,000 to 10,000 daltons, extracted from cerebral cortex. The course
The standard adult clinical course is 10mg intramuscular once daily for 10 days, reconstituted before injection, sometimes repeated after an interval. The evidence
A clinical study in acute ischemic stroke reported a neuroprotective benefit at low doses across 272 patients (Zh Nevrol Psikhiatr, 2014), with additional open trial data (2014). As with the rest of this category, the strongest data is Russian and the compound is studied in clinical populations, not as a healthy-user nootropic.
